宇都宮「第2回コレクション展」

宇都宮美術館は、コレクションの柱の１つにデザインを掲げ、グラフィックデザインやプロダクトデザインの名品を数多く所蔵しています。中でもバウハウスに関するコレクションはマルセル・ブロイヤーのクラブチェア（ワシリーチェア）のプロトタイプや陶器工房の量産のためのデザインなど、大変重要なものばかりです。加えてクレー、カンディンスキー、ファイニンガー、モホイ＝ナジなどの絵画が揃っているのも嬉しいところ。今回のコレクション展では、「特集・99年目のバウハウス」と題した章を設けて、バウハウス関連作品群からおよそ50点*に及ぶ作品を展示。
コレクション展といっても、大変充実した内容です。
